These are the terms on which we provide upholstery cleaning services. They're written to be readable rather than impressive.

Pricing
Prices are published on our price list and shown in the calculator on every page. The figure you build online, including the 10% online discount, is the price for the job as you described it. There is a $99 minimum per visit.
The price can only change in one circumstance: if a piece is materially more soiled or differently constructed than described — for example extensive untreated pet contamination, smoke damage or mould. In that case we tell you before any work begins, and you may decline at no charge. We do not renegotiate part-way through a job.
Booking and cancellation
Submitting a quote is a request, not a binding booking; the appointment is confirmed when we speak to you. There's no deposit. There's no cancellation fee — we ask only that you tell us as early as you reasonably can so we can offer the slot to someone else.
What we need from you
Reasonable access to the furniture, and honesty about its history — particularly pet accidents, previous cleaning attempts and any household products already used on it. Some products, including certain urine sprays and household cleaners, make proper treatment harder and can affect what we can achieve. Please empty storage ottomans and remove personal items before we arrive.
What we can and can't promise
We will identify the fabric, follow the manufacturer's cleaning code, and use appropriate methods and chemistry throughout. We do not guarantee removal of every stain. Some marks are permanent by the time we see them — dye damage, bleach damage, sun fade, ink, set oxidised sunscreen yellowing, and urine that has saturated into a frame or floor. Where we believe a result will be partial, we say so before starting.
We also decline work where cleaning would risk damage: silk and certain antique upholstery, X-coded fabrics, and bonded leather that has begun to peel. Declining is not a failure to provide the service; it's the correct outcome.
Drying and aftercare
Typical drying times are given on each service page and depend on fabric, construction, ventilation and weather. Please follow any aftercare instructions we give on the day — particularly leaving cushions on edge and air moving until dry.
Liability
We carry insurance and we take care. If we damage something through our own fault, tell us promptly and we will put it right. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, latent defects in furniture, manufacturer defects, or deterioration that becomes visible once soil is removed — for example wear or dye loss that was previously masked.
Payment
Payment is due on completion. We accept cash, check, all major cards, Zelle and Venmo. An itemised receipt is provided.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
