Syosset is family suburbia at its most concentrated — large colonials, full houses, and furniture that genuinely gets used. It's the kind of town where the family room sectional has taken a decade of homework, television and snacks, and nobody has ever thought to have it cleaned.
The family room piece
In most Syosset houses one room absorbs nearly all the traffic. The sectional in it takes food, drink, homework, pets and daily body contact from four or five people, while a formal living room down the hall stays essentially unused.
What that produces is uneven wear on a single piece. Sectional seat cushions are often fixed and non-reversible, so you can't rotate them the way you can on a sofa — which is why the two or three seats everybody actually uses darken years before the ends do. The seam where sections meet fills with crumbs, hair, coins and small toys, and it never gets vacuumed because it's only reachable when the units are separated.
We separate them wherever the design allows. Sectionals are $150 for two or three sections and $220 for four or more, covering every section, the chaise, back cushions and the deck beneath.
Kids, and why organic actually matters
This is the argument for our products that lands hardest in a town like Syosset. Carpet is underfoot. Upholstery is where children lie down, where the dog sleeps, where a toddler puts their face. Whatever is left in that fabric stays in prolonged contact with people.
Everything we carry is plant-derived and non-toxic — no harsh detergents, no optical brighteners, no chemical smell and nothing to air out. The room is usable the moment the fabric is dry. And it solves the residue problem at the same time: detergent left in fabric stays sticky and attracts soil, which is why some sofas look worse a month after cleaning than before. Ours rinse clean.

Mattresses, and the allergy question
Big houses mean several beds, and mattress cleaning is where a single visit pays for itself. Every mattress is $99 regardless of size, and headboards are $99 too.
An adult loses roughly half a litre of moisture and a substantial quantity of skin cells into a mattress every night, and it sits in the top layers of foam where washing sheets can't reach. It feeds dust mites, whose waste proteins are among the most common indoor allergens there are — and Long Island humidity keeps conditions favourable for them much of the year. Children's mattresses are worth doing annually rather than every two years, simply because accidents and illness are more common.
Dining rooms that come out for holidays
Syosset dining sets tend to be used properly a handful of times a year and ignored between, which makes them among the most neglected furniture in the house. You only ever see a chair seat at an angle in a room lit from above, so the soil is effectively invisible — turn one over under a lamp and it's a surprise.
At $20 a chair, an eight-seat set is $160, and the $99 minimum is cleared at five chairs. Book two to three weeks before you need them; the run-up to the holidays is our busiest stretch of the year for dining chairs.
Outdoor and patio furniture
Outdoor cushions take punishment no indoor sofa sees. Sunscreen is the damaging one — oils and titanium dioxide bond into the fibers, oxidise and yellow, and a cushion left under a cover all winter often never fully recovers. Add salt in the air, spring pollen and tree sap, and outdoor fabric accumulates far more than people expect.
We clean patio sectionals, deep-seat sofas, chair pads, sun loungers and poolside furniture in place, using controlled extraction rather than a pressure washer — pressure washing breaks the fiber surface, strips the factory water-repellent finish and drives water deep into the foam. Prices are identical to indoor. Best booked September or October, before anything is covered or stored. More on outdoor furniture cleaning →
What the work actually looks like
Real jobs photographed on Long Island — not stock images. This is the hand tool, the technique and the standard of finish you get in Syosset.
How we work, on every piece
We find the manufacturer's tag and read the cleaning code — W, S, WS and X each demand a different method, and guessing is how furniture gets ruined. Dry soil comes out first with a crevice tool through every seam, because adding moisture to dry grit makes mud. Then an organic pre-conditioner with real dwell time, gentle agitation with a soft horsehair brush, and hot-water extraction with an upholstery hand tool rather than a carpet wand.
Fabric changes the method but never the price. Velvet, bouclé, microfiber, leather, linen and wool are all priced by the piece — our fabric guide covers what each needs.

Questions Long Island homeowners ask
How much to clean a family room sectional in Syosset?
$150 for two or three sections and $220 for four or more, including every section, the chaise, back cushions and the deck underneath. Nothing is priced separately and the figure does not change once we arrive.
Are your products safe around young children?
Yes. Everything we use is plant-derived and non-toxic, with no harsh detergents or optical brighteners, no chemical smell and nothing that needs to air out. The room is usable as soon as the fabric is dry — which matters most on upholstery, because it is the surface children actually lie on.
Why are the middle cushions darker than the ends?
Because sectional seat cushions are usually fixed and non-reversible, so you cannot rotate wear the way you can on a sofa. The two or three seats everybody actually uses take all the body oil and daily contact, and they darken years before the ends do.
Should I have the children's mattresses cleaned?
Annually is sensible, rather than the every-two-years we suggest for adults, simply because accidents and illness are more common. Every mattress is $99 regardless of size, so doing several beds in one visit is where the value is.
When should I book dining chairs before the holidays?
Two to three weeks ahead. The run-up to the holidays is our busiest stretch of the year for dining chairs and the late slots go early. An eight-seat set is $160 at $20 a chair.
Do you clean outdoor furniture in Syosset?
Yes, at the same prices as indoor. Patio sectionals, chair pads and sun loungers cleaned in place with controlled extraction — never a pressure washer.
